Get involved in our publications programme

The views of people affected by brain and spine conditions are central to our work and there are several ways you can be involved in our publications process:

Have you read a Brain and Spine publication? Then let us know what you think…

We are always interested to find out what you think about our publications. We want to make sure we are providing the most up to date and relevant information we possibly can. If you have read any of our booklets or leaflets we would be very interested in hearing your views:
  • How helpful was the information, did it tell you what you needed to know?
  • Do you consider the information to be up to date?
  • Is there anything else you would like to see covered?

Email your comments to info@brainandspine.org.uk

If you request additional information on neurological conditions your e-mail will be passed onto the Helpline team who will answer your query.

Case studies for our media panel

When a new booklet is ready for publication, the Brain and Spine Foundation issues a press release, often featuring the topic from a patient's or carer's perspective. Information about other people's experience is a very valuable means of raising awareness of brain and spine disorders, and can be very helpful to others in a similar position. In addition, the Foundation is often asked by journalists from the general and specialist press and broadcast media to provide stories from people who have been directly affected by these conditions.

If you have experience of a neurological condition and are willing to talk to health writers and journalists, please contact us. We will not use your details on any occasion without asking you first and we will always do our best to make sure we know the nature of the story that will be printed.

We are also looking for case studies to include in the patient's perspective section of the website. If you would like to share your experience of living with a neurological condition please, please contact the Brain and Spine Helpline.
